BlindCrafter Of The Year Award

Comfortex Window Fashions, a leading innovative manufacturer and fabricator of custom window treatment products for global distribution, is proud to announce the 2007 Comfortex BlindCrafter of the Year award recipient. Advanced Blind & Shade, of Soquel, California received the award at the 2008 BlindCrafter National Convention in Jackson Hole, WY. The Comfortex BlindCrafter program is a comprehensive business strategy that provides retail fabricators with a unified brand name, ongoing business, marketing, technical support and certified on-site training for building and selling popular custom blinds and shades.

Celebrating 17 years in business, Advanced Blind & Shade first came on board with Comfortex as Composers 16 years ago and were one of the first BlindCrafters to join the program at its inception in 2002. In 2005 they added a newly remodeled showroom and new fabrication facility where through the BlindCrafter program they fabricate several brands of Comfortex shades.

Advanced Blind & Shade Service has been selected for the 2008 Best of Soquel Award in the Window Coverings category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).

The USLBA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

BlindCrafter Lifetime Achievement Award

Advanced Blind & Shade is the proud recipient of the 2006 BlindCrafter Lifetime Achievement Award for the Western Region. The award was presented at the Comfortex BlindCrafter National Convention in Las Vegas, NV.

Advanced Blind & Shade was awarded this distinction for their embodiment of the BlindCrafter strategy and remarkable business growth as a BlindCrafter.
